Okay, so I am in quite the situation. I'm a parent. Don't get me wrong. The blessings that come along with the screaming tantrums, random crying bursts, failing math..they are totally worth it. But here's my dilemma. I am in search for parenting 101 to help me stretch this one soul and evenly split it amongst 4 individuals, ages 19-7.
Here's the even bigger situation. There is no parenting 101. So, what do I do? I wing it. Every single day. The day to day parenting thing does become, for the most part, habit. But the rest is totally luck and on a wing and a prayer. To think that any instructions, whether written or verbally passed down, will make parenting easier is just a waste of time.
Every family is different. What works for one may not work for the other. So today, my advice for you is to stop looking for the parenting 101 guide ( mainly because you will never find it ) and teach yourself how to adapt to the day to day life that comes along with being the parent to your child(ren)
