Being a parent can be very overwhelming. It can take up every square inch of our brains and prevent us from having any thoughts that don't revolve around our children.
With that being said, I am trying to take time for myself daily to dig a bit deeper than just the stay at home parent ( which I love! ) that I am.
In the moments that life is so hectic, five minutes of quite seem impossible, I have started looking at things from a different perspective, even in those crazy moments.
I try not to let the bad moments define me anymore. I have tried to throw mom guilt out the window and I decided that I was going to start naming things I love in the moments that I am almost certain I hate everything in site,
Its a challenge and not a fix all for some days, but the more that I do this the more that it becomes habit, making it a part of my hectic routine.
So today, as messy and crazy and insane as my day was, and as much as I know this type of day is also in store for me tomorrow, bright and early, I want to say, I LOVE MY LIFE! I love that I am blessed to be a stay at home parent. I am thankful for the roof over my head and the big and little people and fur baby that sleep inside it.
Life can get crazy but love it anyway!
