I'd be lying if I said today was an easy day. I'm fact, it down right stunk!
I feel like there was a never ending stack of first grade math work to do that I just am not grasping.
Numerous arguments between multiple children that, when I eventually stepped in, decided to band together and gang up on me.
Tension in the home. And just the daily ups and downs of a typical stay at parents day.
I have zero solution to any of the above and all day I've been stressing on how I can improve. What I could have done better.
Now that we have done our nightly bargaining to get baby number 4 to sleep I finally had time to slide open a cocktail. Its frozen. Its slushie. Its delicious. And, while I still have no solutions to the situations, I have my frozen cocktail and music.
Really, even if you're having a good day, you cant go wrong with a frozen beverage.
Moral of the story? Kids are little jerks sometimes. First grade math is freaking hard! There is rarely perfect solutions to situations that arise during parenting. And, while no solutions may come to mind on how to flip a parent fail in to a win... Slide open a frozen cocktail and let the day go.
Happy Thursday!
