Anxiety tip

I want to share a little tip I've learned and have been utilizing lately, to help with my peaking anxiety.

With the start of summer and four children, I have noticed that my anxiety has increased just a bit. Very overwhelmed and 100% outnumbered.

Typically when I feel the anxiety start to rise I have learned that taking a few deep breaths and then holding my breath while counting to ten in my head, helps!

This takes the focus off the anxiety and gives your mind a chance to reset and redirect.

Typically one good time and I'm feeling a bit calmer and can then work at turning the, would be anxiety attack, around. I gain control. I also notice all the tension build up releases from my fingertips and toes. This doesn't always work, but in a lot of situations it does.

I usually only need to do this one good time, but I do have other days where I have to repeat 2-3 times, with deep breaths taken in between.

I also have started saying ouloud, youre okay. Youre bigger than this.

I hope this tip helps those who have summer time anxiety!

Stay focused and strong parents!
